The project of new convention center designed by the World renowned architect Eva Jiricna reached one of the key project milestones – erection of the roof structure. The structural steelwork spanning 60 meters with the weight over 90t was put in place.

The unique structure consists of the main arch beam and 32 supporting girders. These are capped with the Al mesh. The space between the main beam will be covered by the SS nets. The whole roof structure is held in the position by the pre-stressed ties, evenly distributed around the entire structure.

The project works which started in August 2009 are running in accordance with the original time schedule, and the Project will be handed over to the Investor in August 2010.
